The Business Plan
The business plan provides greater detail than the proposal document and it serves 2 purposes:
- as an internal document to help you move forward with your ideas.
- as a fundraising tool.
The business plan sets out all the information that the organisation will need for its own future planning (particularly financial planning) whereas the proposal document is essentially to market the idea to other agencies. However, some funders, partners and perhaps the public sector organisation that owns the asset may want to see the business plan.
Generally, a business plan will include the following:
- Introduction
- The organisation’s history and structure
- A review of the organisation’s track record and achievements
- The plan for the use of the asset
- Financial implications
We will produce the Business Plan ourselves
