The West Midlands region has six strategic partnerships to drive forward the key outcomes of increasing sports participation, developing community sport and widening access for under represented groups.
The partnerships will be able to provide you with information about local contacts in your area, as well as information about local funding opportunities, local sports plans and other sports organisations working in the area.

Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership
The West Midlands Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership supports local government to work together to improve services to the community and to deliver these more efficiently. The RIEP is run by local government on behalf of local government, and the focus is on learning from each other and sharing best practice.

The Development Trusts Association
The DTA is a network of community practitioners which helps people set up development trusts, and helps existing trusts learn from each other and work effectively. Development trusts are community owned and led organisations. They use self-help, trading for social purpose, and ownership of buildings and land, to bring about long-term social, economic and environmental benefits in their community.
The DTA produces a wide range of useful resources on asset transfer.
